Worksheet Search – Is Sheet Suitable

Determines whether a given Excel.Worksheet contains a specific identifier string.

Internally uses xlFindTextCoordinates to perform the search and capture the coordinates if needed.

VB
    Public Function xlIsSheetSuitable(wsSheet As Excel.Worksheet,
                                      SheetIdentifier As String,
Optional LookAt As Object = xlWhole) As Boolean

If wsSheet Is Nothing Then Return False
Dim iRow As Integer = 0 : Dim iCol As Integer = 0

Return xlFindTextCoordinates(wsSheet, SheetIdentifier, iRow, iCol, LookAt)

    End Function
